Gluten Free Snacks Just Got Better with Van’s Natural Foods

From time to time Adventure Yum receives snacks like van’s natural foods to try and share. Regardless, opinions are our own.

Hey… guess what? We have no van’s natural foods snacks in our house right now!

Yes, I am serious. We ate them all because they were SO good!

Happily, we had a chance to try out their nice selection of newer gluten free products. From crackers, to cereal and snack bars it was all delish!

I tend to stay away from purchasing snack crackers especially of the cheese variety because I find them so addicting. That is one of the many reasons I fell in love with the Say Cheese! crackers that come in individual snack packs.  They are thin, crispy and uniquely cheesy.  Aside from being made with real cheddar cheese, they also contain oats, brown rice, millet, quinoa and amaranth. They are the only nutrient dense cheddar cracker I’ve seen or tried and boy did van’s totally nail these!

The other gluten free crackers that I tried were  The Perfect 10 and Fire Roasted Veggie.  They were both delicious in their own way. The Perfect 10 are made with 6 types of grains as well as flax, sesame, poppy and caraway. It’s hard to believe how tasty they were all while having a plethora a nutritious ingredients.  The Fire Roasted Veggie crackers are infused with flavors of bell pepper, onion, carrot, garlic and tomato. The two things that really stand out with both are the texture and the unique flavor. Really worth trying out!

At van’s natural foods, they aren’t all snacks. They also have some cereal options and of course some waffles!  All of their cereals are made without dairy, egg, corn, high fructose corn syrup, artificial ingredients, hydrogenated oils or GMO oils! So, it’s a great way to start the day.  We tried the Cinnamon Heaven cereal which are tasty little squares with an addicting flavor. The cereal was just perfectly sweetened so it’s perfect for adults and kids alike.

Now on to the family favorite pick and I must say I was very surprised.  We tried the Van’s snack bars in the Cranberry Almond Flavor. We actually took the whole box to go when we went to bring my son to football practice.  We’re generally hungry because the 2 hour practice is when we’d usually be eating dinner.  We also had our two young nephews with us that day.  Everyone loved the bars including my husband who I honestly didn’t think would like them at all.  They were the perfect balance of fruit and nut all baked into a perfect bar. They also have them in Chocolate Chip and Peanut Butter Chocolate… I think the family would go even crazier for these!
