Over Memorial Day weekend, we were guests at Okemo Mountain Resort, all opinions are mine.
We had such a wonderful time visiting Okemo Valley in Vermont this Spring. The weather didn’t completely cooperate for the first portion, but we had one of the most perfect days of the season right before we left. The sky was a perfect blue and the air seemed so fresh and clean. I miss it already! It was our first time visiting the area, so we really didn’t know what to expect. Our first stop was Jackson Gore Inn of course to check in. This is one of Okemo Mountain Resorts many accommodations offered in the valley. Driving up to the resort on that cold rainy night, it was clear that we’d hit the jackpot. Talk about instant mood changer! This place is in an ideal location, slopeside, nestled right at the base of the mountain. After being greeted cheerfully, we were told that we’d be staying in Adams House. This is one of their more spacious off the 3 places to stay in the village which offers a little more privacy than staying closer to all the action. Their Adams House has heated indoor parking, which was awesome! We parked and ran off to our room to see what awaited!
HUGE! Yes, our “room” was huge! I’ve actually lived in smaller apartments, true story. I felt like a kid at a candy store, racing from room to room to check the place out. I officially fell in love with the master bathroom that had his and her sinks. Ah! This would be a good weekend.
Top 3 Reasons to Stay at Jackson Gore Inn
There are a million and one great things I could say about the Inn, but I figured I would sum it up into just 3. Don’t want to ruin any fun surprises that you might encounter when planning your own trip!
1. Awesome Location. Jackson Gore Village is located slopeside at the base of a mountain. This resort is surrounded by beautiful mountain views. It is located centrally to area attractions and good eats in the Okemo Valley area of Vermont. Not that you’d necessarily ever want to leave, the resort itself is practically a vacation on its own!
One of the other things that I just loved is that they have large fire pit right at the resort. It’s lit up nightly to enjoy, it is also within walking distance right at the resort. Now on to other things to do there! They also have tennis, a basketball court, a gym and a vacation wouldn’t be complete with pools!
So, as you can see there are lots of reasons to stay at Jackson Gore in Okemo Valley! Head over to the Okemo Mountain Resort website for details or to book your stay!
